Zhongyuanmiao Temple

Zhongyuanmiao temple is located at the foot of Huanggaifeng peak on the south side of the Taishishan Mt. of Songshan. It is enclosed by mountains and hills with charming sceneries. Zhongyuanmiao temple has been included in the fifth group of key national protection relics by the State Council in 2001. The temple is the largest and supreme etiquette building group in China. The architecture of Zhongyuanmiao temple has not only influenced the formation of worship buildings in the other four greatest Chinese mountains but also influenced the scale and style of etiquette and worship buildings in China. Zhongyuanmiao temple is the largest and most intact Taoist temple and royal garden among the five great mountains of China.
