Lost in the Spring of Songshan Mountain

There’s the saying “world’s mystery in Songshan Mountain”since ancient times. With hundreds of flowers in bloom, the spring of Songshan Mountain makes us intoxicated and forget to leave. A poet once wrote: if life is a bundle of flowers, what we love is not the charming colors, what we really love is the passionate blossoming on fine and sunny days. If you have the chance to come here and appreciate the spring flowers, it would not be difficult for you to understand the passionate blossoming of the poet. Spring is the season for the rebirth of nature. Countless flowers on the Songshan Mountain wake up in vying with each other. The overspread flowers with charming colors and attractive fragrance tempt you to go into the open field of the spring and attend the spring gathering. The blossom season of Songshan Mountain of this year started at the beginning of this year. The 14th ,December of lunar calendar was my daughter’s 13th birthday, falling snowflakes added much romance to her birthday. In order to leave her an unforgettable birthday, we (I, my wife and my daughter) visited Songshan Mountain and ran into the wintersweet in full blossom at the ancient Songyang Academy. The wintersweet gently blooms in the wind and snow with sparkling and crystal-clear petals. The color of the wintersweet is golden yellow, gorgeous but not vulgar, with strong and clear aroma. My daughter was enchanted and walked among wintersweets. Photos of her brilliant smiling face were kept.
With the good beginning, the blossom season of Songshan Mountain reveals its beauty in sequence.
The apricot flower, called the first flower in spring, almost has no resistance to spring breeze. The kisses of spring breeze over one night wake up pink apricot flowers. Their delicate and charming enchantment activates the earth and all sorts of other flowers.
Then the fructus forsythiae blooms and brings bright yellow to the whole mountain; the milk vetch blooms and casts purple clouds on the Songshan Mountain; the rape flower blooms and covers the mountain and slope with golden yellow. Wild azalea and peach flower blooms and makes the mountain colorful and flourishing. Nameless wild flowers also join in, bloom in the field to report the information of spring and add more colors to Songshan Mountain. On sunny weekends, invite several bosom friends to go to Songshan Mountain for a walk in spring. Just take a leisurely walk, you may feel you are attending the gathering of spring flowers. Golden yellow winter jasmine, clear and bright Michelia alba and charming peach flowers jump into your eyes. They flutter before the wind and reveal the spring fully which entirely frees people from worry. We can stroll among the mountain; bathe under the fragrance of various flowers; feel the splendid color of flowers; appreciate the brilliant spring of Songshan Mountain and taste the dense cultural atmosphere. We all lost in the beautiful scenery with elegant, ardent and extraordinary splendor.
